Saltwater’s important elements

Calcium (Ca) is strikingly important to the human body. It is important for keeping bones strong and teeth healthy, but also aids in muscle growth and blood pressure.

Magnesium (Mg) helps our bodies to absorb Calcium and Potassium. It helps aid in depression, muscle growth, and blood pressure.

Sodium (Na) is vital to life. If sodium were not present in our cells we would die. It helps maintain the proper blood chemistry and right amount of water in our blood.

Potassium (K) helps send messages to our brain. If Potassium were not present we could not blink, use our muscles, or move. It is also one of the three main elements that is vital to plant life.
